Director’s bay
To reach the beach you have to go down some stairs and then you are directly on the beach. The nice thing about this beach is that you have palapas with picnic tables here so you can sit in the shade.
Before 1985, Director's Bay was a private beach of the Shell directors. After Shell left Curaçao, Director's Bay became a public beach.
Want to work on your tan on this beach? Then we advise you to bring a beach chair or beach bed because it is not completely a sandy beach. Some parts are also covered with pebbles.
The beautiful reef is home to colorful fish and makes it a real hotspot for snorkelers. You also have an old buoy in the water here, which has made it part of life under water.
